E3 Consulting was delighted to support the successful project financing of Energy Vault’s Calistoga Resiliency Center (CRC), an energy storage facility under construction in Calistoga, California. The CRC project is the first ultra-long duration hybrid green hydrogen energy storage microgrid serving Pacific Gas & Electric (PC&E). It will provide 8.5 MW of power for up to 2 hours and 6.1 MW of power for up to 48 hours to serve the city of Calistoga in times of PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events or other events that force grid interruptions. E3’s Al Rettenmaier, head of our Oil, Gas, Chemicals & Hydrogen practice, managed E3’s role in the project. Please reach out to Al at 913.231.2942 or ar@e3co.com for additional information about the Energy Vault project or E3’s services.
