In finance, generation and transmission specialties

DENVER – In order to continue to provide superior client service and to keep pace with its significant growth as a leading energy sector consulting firm, E3 Consulting LLC announces the addition of three new executive directors: James Beach, R. Mark Clements and Vladislav “VK” Kuceravy.

Together, the three new executive directors bring more than 70 years of experience in finance, operations, permitting, generation and transmission to E3  Consulting.

“Activity in every area of the global energy sector is literally white hot, and demand for professional guidance and counsel by E3 is equally robust,” said Don Hurd, CEO of E3 Consulting. “Including Mark, James and VK on our existing team of more than 20 of the brightest minds in energy sector consulting adds immensely to the value we bring to our clients.”

Beach has 10 years of experience in the power industry and 15 years as a financial professional, specializing in structuring non-recourse debt financing and acquisitions. Much of his career has been in senior and mid-level project finance roles with two large U.S. independent power producers, and during the past six years, he has led financing efforts for more than 10 major non-recourse power transactions totaling nearly $7 billion and over 8,000MW.

Clements, an industry expert in transmission, has 35 years of experience in the electric utility and management consulting sector, including 15 years experience in generation expansion planning and production cost modeling, and 15 years in transmission planning and system operations. He is also experienced with network service evaluations and with RTO and FERC transmission pricing policies, transmission transfer path evaluation and expansion studies.

Kuceravy has over 24 years of experience in power generation, including plant operations and providing independent engineering and asset valuations to financial clients.  He is fluent in Czech and Slovak. VK’s experience includes years of hands-on work in plant operation and maintenance, commissioning, startup and licensing.
