E3 Consulting Welcomes Back Earl Franklin as Executive Director: DENVER, August 19, 2008—E3 Consulting, LLC (E3), a leading strategic business advisor to the energy industry, is pleased to welcome back Earl Franklin as an E3 Executive Director. Mr. Franklin served as an Executive Director with E3 for seven years before leaving the firm in early 2007 to become the Chief Operating Officer of Prometheus Energy Company. Prometheus is an early-stage company in the business of developing and owning distributed scale plants converting stranded sources of methane to Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) used principally in the transportation sector. As COO, Mr. Franklin helped the Company place in operation, the world’s first commercial-scale plant converting Landfill Gas to LNG. “E3 is excited to renew our relationship with Earl. Mr. Franklin has over 30 years experience in the power generating business. During his previous tenure with E3, he managed the successful conclusion of E3’s engagement as an energy advisor to the creditors of NRG Mid-Atlantic and Mirant Americas Generation Inc. Mr. Franklin will advise clients on valuation, financing due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, asset management and restructuring.
