E3 opens New York office, adds 3 professionals to staff,
As the firm grows to provide wider array of client services
DENVER, CO – In order to continue to provide superior client service and to keep pace with its significant growth as a leading energy sector consulting firm, E3 Consulting LLC announces the firm has added three new professionals and is opening an office in New York.
Joining the energy consultancy at its Denver office are Mary C. Prendergast, (Manager of Marketing Communications), Mark S. Shaw (Executive Director), and Vincent R. Tummarello, (Executive Director). Tummarello will provide E3 Consulting with a presence in New York, the financial capital of the world.
Prendergast has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications in the government, non-profit and for-profit sectors, including banking and finance, public relations, engineering and labor. She is a graduate of the University of Denver (MS in Communications) and the University of Northern Colorado, (BA, Political Science.) She lives in Denver.
Shaw, a resident of Lakewood, CO, has 27 years of experience in the energy sector, including a senior management role in a public energy firm and two consulting business partner roles. He has participated in strategic portfolio, acquisition, divestiture, litigation, and unitization evaluations and negotiations, prepared secured asset and project finance evaluations while employed by a major US bank, and has prepared and successfully presented oil and gas regulatory requests in four US states. Shaw has designed and developed commercial international oil and gas project economic modeling software eventually purchased by a major international service company. He earned his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Tummarello, with more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry, has developed RFPs and negotiated final contracts in the hundreds of millions of dollars electric of transmission projects. He served as project manager for the ISO New England multi-year Regional Transmission Expansion Plan and chaired the Transmission Expansion Advisory Committee, an effort that led to some $2 billion in recommended projects.
In addition, Tummarello has managed a fleet of generation units, including fossil steam, gas turbines and hydroelectric units with a combined output of 1800 MW. In that role he was responsible for engineering, construction, environmental and regulatory compliance, fuel purchasing, power sales and all aspects of operations and maintenance. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from New York University.
